This past Sunday I spent the morning with Mike, Beth and Devin. Mike and I met a few weeks ago while working on a wedding. (If you're looking for amazing videography in the Detroit Metro area - check out Third Street Films.)
When Mike told me that he was getting married himself in a few weeks - and that he and his fiance Beth had an 8 month old together and were looking for a few family photos, well, I knew we HAD to set up a session.
I am so glad we did. Mike and Beth are awesome. Their son is adorable (and so happy!).
We started at Campus Martius in downtown Detroit with a few moments of "alone" time for Mike and Beth. Then we took a short drive to one of my favorite ever places to shoot, The Dequindre Cut Greenway. The Dequindre Cut is an urban recreational path, 1.35-miles in length that offers a pedestrian link between the Riverfront, Eastern Market and many of the residential neighborhoods in between. It's a beautiful park with an edgy urban feel and absolutely gorgeous light.
